Webinar on TCM’s Work Process for Test Campaigns
How does the work process at TCM look like to qualify a technology vendor for testing in the amine plant or at the emerging technology site?
«Nothing is left to chance. We have developed a comprehensive procedure which ensures TCM and a Vendor that all objectives of the campaign can be met while operating safely. We will elaborate on this in the webinar», says Rouzbeh Jafari, advisor at TCM with a PhD in Chemical Engineering specializing in CO2 capture.

Our work process
«The aim for the webinar on Monday, November 27th is to give technology developers insights on TCMs structured methodology used to assess the technologies before signing a test agreement. The objective of this work process is to mitigate HSE, technical and other risks. Thus, anyone considering testing at our facilities is advised to attend the webinar to understand how we think and proceed when we are planning, preparing, and executing a campaign», states Rouzbeh.
TCM began operations at Mongstad in 2012 with the amine facility which completed >55,000 hr test campaigns with proprietary and non-proprietary solvents. In 2021, a new test area for emerging technologies opened to host vendors that are aiming to bring in the market alternative to amine solutions such as membrane, sorbent, solvent, and process intensification solutions.
«TCM consistently receives very good evaluations for the services we provide. We want this to continue, and the key is good information and clarity about our work processes», says Christina Martavaltzi, Business Development Manager, also owning a PhD in Chemical Engineering specializing on CO2 Capture.
